Better supplier decisions begin with clearer evidence.

AKTE exists to help project teams compare contractor, supplier and consultant bids properly - without asking them to build a procurement department or learn another system.

Why AKTE exists

Tender evaluation often begins with a difficult practical reality: several substantial submissions, different document structures, qualifications hidden in appendices, commercial figures prepared on different bases and a decision that still has to be made.

The work is not difficult because teams lack professional judgement. It is difficult because the evidence is fragmented and the comparison must remain consistent while deadlines, project demands and stakeholder expectations continue around it.

AKTE provides a structured, independent second set of eyes. The purpose is to help the client see material differences, identify unresolved questions and make a supplier recommendation with greater confidence.

Our approach

Evidence before assumption

Material findings should be connected to the accepted source documents. Where the evidence is incomplete or uncertain, the evaluation should say so.

Clarity before complexity

The evaluation should make the decision easier to understand. It should not create unnecessary administration or hide the reasoning behind a score.

Consistency without false certainty

Bidder responses should be considered against a common evaluation basis while preserving the qualifications, context and limitations that make each submission different.

Professional judgement remains with the client

AKTE supports the evaluation and recommendation. The client retains responsibility for the procurement process, clarification decisions and final award.

Who AKTE serves

AKTE is designed for small and mid-sized architecture, engineering, project-management, owner-representative, developer, QS/cost-management and procurement teams evaluating contractor or supplier bids.

These teams usually do not need another procurement platform. They need experienced evaluation support that can take a defined source set and return a clear, evidence-linked decision-support package.

What AKTE is - and is not

AKTE is a productized procurement evaluation service. It begins after bids are received and complements the tender, project and document tools the client already uses.

AKTE is not the awarding authority, a legal adviser, a statutory compliance certifier or an automated bidder-selection system.

Technology may support document organization, information structuring and consistency checks. The service is defined by the quality of the evaluation, the connection to source evidence and the clarity of the final deliverable - not by the tools used to prepare it.

A deliberately bounded service

Standard packages have visible bidder and effective-page limits so the likely scope is understandable before the project proceeds.

Projects outside those limits, or involving multiple lots, regulation, dispute or unusual complexity, are reviewed separately. A responsible scope is more important than forcing every procurement into the same package.

If you have bids to compare, begin with the project characteristics.

AKTE will identify the evaluation route likely to fit.
